Intended students
Those interested in management and governance aspects of the public sector (infield such as HR, finance, industrial psychology, economic, local government) and private sector.
 
Entry requirements
  • Matriculation exemption (without matriculation mathematics).
  • Age exemption (subject to meeting prescribed requirements).
Duration and time slot
Three lectures of 60 minutes each per week per subject for two semesters.
Projected fees
R13 000 per year.
 
Intended students
The degree is for students interested in management of public and private sector institutions and parastatals. 
Programmes/courses
The degree combines public administration/management and business management as majors. Courses in statistics, IS, economics, accounting and law are also included. 
Entry requirements
Matriculation exemption with a pass in mathematics on Higher or Standard Grade. Age exemption with mathematics and subjects to meeting prescribed requirements.
Duration and time slot
Three lectures of one hour each per week, per subject, for two semesters.
Projected fees
R13 000 per year.

BAdmin degree with one or a combination of the following:
  • Public Management/Public Administration
  • Economics
  • Political Studies
  • Business Management
  • Industrial Psychology
  • Development Studies
  • Human Resources Management
  • Other appropriate major.

Two years part-time, approximately three to four weekly sessions per year (08h30-12h30) plus a research paper.

For students interested in management of public and private sector institutions and parastatals.
Entry requirements
BCom (Public Management) degree. Principal field of study should be one or a combination of Public Administration/Public Management and Business Management.
Duration and time slot
Two years part-time, approximately three to four weekly sessions per year (08h30-12h30) plus a research paper.
