Workshops

IEASA’s 2017 workshops are a forum for both international education researchers and practitioners to exchange best practice models in international education. The workshops offer an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to present their work and to obtain feedback from an interested community.

The Abstracts Committee encourages you to submit a workshop proposal. The purpose of your workshops should be to provide a platform for presenting novel ideas in a less formal and possibly more focused way than the conference papers allow. The format of each workshop is to be determined by the presenter/facilitator but it is expected that it will allow sufficient time for general discussion/input.

If you are interested in running a workshop at the 20th Annual IEASA Conference, please submit a proposal. Your workshop proposal will be subject to review and approval by the IEASA Conference Programme Committee. Three workshops will run for half a day concurrently (approximately four hours of actual workshop time).

Your proposal must include:

 A Workshop Title:

 A statement of your goal/s for the workshop

 The names and contact details of the presenter/s or facilitator/s

 The target participants

 A description of the workshop programme

 A statement of how the workshop topic/theme relates to the main conference theme and sub-themes
