Could your university win the Cities for our Future challenge?

The Cities for our Future challenge encourages students and youth to come up with new ideas to help tackle the pressing global issues of our time, such as, rapid urbanisation, pollution, and climate change.

The ACU is encouraging its member institutions with an interest in urban studies, the built environment, climate change, architecture, and engineering to share this opportunity with students and submit an entry to the competition.

Why take part?

The ACU has partnered with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), in partnership and the United Kingdom National Commission for UNESCO on the Cities for our Future challenge.

By taking part, your university has the opportunity to highlight its work on the global stage, as well as the opportunity to win up to £50,000 and support from industry experts to bring your idea to life.
