 Practiced at an NGO Ibn Sina Institute of Tibb in underprivileged communities Langa Township and Athlone for 4 years. Private practice from 2013 - 2017. Former Volunteer at G.F Jooste Hospital in OPD and Trauma. Currently clinical supervisor and associate lecturer for Unani Tibb. Provincial chairperson for the South African Tibb Association (Western Cape) promoting professional development and the growth of the Unani Tibb Profession. Allied Health Professionals Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) Council Member for Unani Tibb. Volunteer at the Goodwood Wellness Centre serving the underprivileged and elderly in the Northern Suburbs region, which provides integrative healthcare from a wide range of health professionals. Participates in Community engagement activities with students in Unani Tibb providing health education and health screenings to the Communities in need. Apart from practicing, special interests in the chronic diseases including diseases of lifestyle such as hypertension, rheumatism, sports injuries, diabetes as well as fibromyalgia, eczema, asthma, child health and gynaecological conditions. Currently pursuing MA in Child and Family studies in explorative research to improve child health and wellbeing with Natural Medicine. Additionally, participating in a CHS research-parenting project.
