Taught by a senior team of lecturers in the Faculty of Education, our B Ed (Hons) course in Language in Education is intended for persons with a strong interest in language issues.

What makes the course unique?
The B Ed (Hons) Language in Education course is the only course of its kind in the country that has English, isiXhosa and Afrikaans as its orientation. It leads to further study either towards the M. Ed. degree, or to complete our inter-disciplinary Masters in Language Education / Applied Linguistics.
The course consists of three core courses, four language education courses, and one additional B Ed (Hons) course, chosen from those not yet selected.
