 How to apply

How to apply

All erudition opportunities on offer by the DPGS must be booked via the UWC online Student Portal service.  This is the same Portal where you can view your selection status, academic history, student account and personal details.

Please take note of the following eligibility criteria and steps to follow when you go to the Student Portal to apply to attend any of our erudition opportunities:

1. You must be a registered postgraduate and/or staff member

2. You must login using your ‘registered’ details

3. You must use your UWC email address as the online system would otherwise not recognize you as ‘eligible’

4. Currently you may book online for two erudition opportunities at a time.  Only once you have attended one of your two pre-bookings will the system allow you to book for the next one.

5. Please ensure that you select the correct offering and Date when making your booking in order to ensure that you are able to attend on the selected date.

6. ‘deregistration’ for an offering must be at least one week beforehand in order to avoid your booking to be listed as ‘no show’ and thus preventing you from booking for the next offerings.

Please note:

1.Attendance of erudition opportunities is strictly “pre-registered” and ‘walking’ are not allowed.  This is for the purpose of Quality Assurance and also fairness to fellow pre-booked attendees.

2. You will unfortunately not be allowed access to the venue on the day of the erudition offering for which you have registered if you arrived later than 30 minutes after the starting time and as a result be captured as a ‘no show’.  This is to ensure fairness and respect to not be disrupting concentration of fellow attendees and to the facilitator who would have by then started with the session.

Steps To Follow When You Can’t Apply Online:
