The Co-curricular Record is a platform for students to apply for official recognition of their co-curricular involvement, which include experiential learning and inhabiting certain attributes that facilitate the development and growth of students. These attributes are intended to equip students as critical and responsible citizens, contributing to the social and economic wellbeing of society. The co-curricular involvement is not about simply attending a workshop or training programme but demonstrating the skills and attributes that you have acquired to competently undertake and fulfil defined tasks.

APPLY NOW!

Currently we only recognise campus-based programmes and projects, alongside other meritorious and academic achievements. As this initiative grows, the University will consider opening the platform to other areas of student development and involvement beyond UWC campus.

Please note that you are allowed only 500 characters when filling your application per category. Each category contains criteria that are applicable which you should familiarise yourself with. Ensure that you fill in the relevant information and where evidence is required; include clear and verifiable justifications in the designated mandatory spaces. Provide the correct details of the contact person or referee. A reference report is a requirement for each application.

After submitting your application, the Validator will verify your application for correctness and that it meets the criteria. Thereafter, the application will be forwarded to the Selection Panel for a recommendation and then to the Vice-Rector: Student Development and Support and the Registrar for approval. Finally you may request a copy of your Co-Curricular Record on a UWC letterhead from the Student Affairs desk in the Administration building.
