About the UWC Golf Days
The University of the Western Cape (UWC) Golf Days are flagship annual fundraising events dedicated to raising vital funds that provide essential financial support to deserving students, ensuring they are able to continue their studies without disruption despite financial challenges.
More than just a day on the golf course, this event brings together UWC alumni, businesses, entrepreneurs, corporate partners, and friends of the University to build meaningful relationships while investing in the future of our students. Every sponsorship and four-ball purchased helps create opportunities for deserving students by supporting bursaries and student success initiatives that enable talented young people to realise their potential.
The UWC Golf Days are hosted as two flagship events:
- Johannesburg Golf Day
- Cape Town Golf Day
You can commit your support in the following ways:
- Gold Sponsorship: R150, 000 (Sold)
- Silver Sponsorship: R70, 000
- Bronze Sponsorship: R40, 000
- Four-Ball Better Ball Entry: R8,000 per team
- Branded Water Point: R8,000
Includes activation space; all branding, tables, gazebos, umbrellas, chairs, ice and other display equipment must be delivered to the golf course by 08:00 AM on the day of the event. - Prize Sponsorship: Two similar prizes required
- Voluntary Contributions: voluntary donations are welcome and a Section 18A tax certificate will be issued for all qualifying contributions.
