Program Details

The Metacom Foundation is a non-profit organisation committed to supporting previously disadvantaged women through education. Our mission is to empower young women to become innovative thought leaders by equipping them with the tools, mentorship, and emotional support to excel and uplift their communities.

To be eligible for the program, applicant must:

• Be a woman of colour, aged 18-27
• Be a South African citizen
• Be enrolled for a bachelor's degree in ICT or a related field (e.g.,
• Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, etc.)
• Demonstrate financial need
• Demonstrate academic potential and ambition

Be registered at one of the following universities:

• University of Cape Town (UCT)
• University of Western Cape (UWC)
• Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT)
• Stellenbosch University
