Meeting of the Convocation
Members of the Convocation at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) are
cordially invited to the Annual General Meeting of the Convocation to be held from
11:00 to 12:30 on Saturday, 6 June 2015 in the GH 1 Lecture Theatre in the Great
Hall Complex, on the main campus of the University. The Convocation includes:
• All UWC graduates
• Academic employees (all those currently employed on a permanent basis or on
contract for a period of one year or more)
• The Rector, Vice-Rectors, Registrar, Executive Directors and the Director of Library
Services
• Those members of the Convocation who were members of the Convocation prior
to 2005
• Two members of Council appointed to Senate.
Members of the Convocation are invited to join the Rector of the University for
refreshments after the meeting in the foyer of the Great Hall Complex.
