About the presenter: Mrs Anja Human-Hendricks is a registered Social Worker and a PhD candidate in the Department of Social Work at the University of the Western Cape. She has a Master's in Child and Family Studies. Her research interests include child and family well-being, strengthening families, child protection, youth and parenting. These research interests are also linked to her community engagement interests. Mrs Human-Hendricks has presented and published her work with the recent book chapter being “The fundamentals to understanding the intergenerational parent-child relationship and parenting competencies”.
