The University of the Western Cape has recently concluded the Student Representative Council (SRC) and Central House Committee (CHC) elections 2023/2024.

We are pleased to announce the Final Results and furthermore wish to inform the Campus Community that the voting process had a voter turnout of 24.9% for the SRC and 59.9% for the CHC. 

The SRC consists of 12 members - 12 candidates with the highest number of votes take up a seat in the incoming SRC. 
The CHC consists of 10 members - 10 candidates with the highest number of votes take up a seat in the incoming CHC.

A heartfelt gratitude goes out to all the students for their participation and ensuring a peaceful, free, and fair election process, and to the staff for their support throughout this period. The newly elected members of the SRC will be officially inaugurated on the 14th September 2023.

We wish the incoming Student Leaders all the best during their term of office.
