Closing date for nominations is midnight on 16 October 2022.

The following additional criteria apply to candidates:
• Demonstrates the development of UWC Graduate Attributes
• Demonstrates ethical leadership and conduct
• Embraces the idea of a living and learning environment at UWC
• Committed to the ethos of Student Development and Support
• Maintains a good working relationship with students and staff
• Has a record of good standing with students and staff
• Has a clear sense of accountability and responsibility
• Demonstrates creativity and initiative
• Is an academic achiever
Please consider the following terms and conditions (T&Cs) when compiling a motivation:
1. Read the categories carefully before applying;
2. Type a motivation for the nomination on a separate page by clicking the link “view nomination form”,
and submit this with the nomination form;
3. A nominee has to consent to his/her nomination before the nomination form is deemed complete;
4. A motivation must be based only on what the nominee has achieved, and evidence thereof must
be submitted together with the nomination form. Plans for the future will not be considered;
5. A vaguely written motivation will not be considered;
6. A motivation must be clear and detailed and must address the criteria (Example of a good motivation);
7. No nomination will be accepted after the closing date;
8. The selection panel reserves the right to verify the information provided.

Student Tutoring and Academic Support | • Engaged in a UWC tutoring programme • Has an excellent grasp of the fundamentals of peer tutoring • Engaged in a project, event, etc. which provides academic support and/or tutoring to UWC students • Has an excellent grasp of providing support for academic excellence |
4. Student Orientation | • Contributed towards the achievements of the orientation programme at UWC. • Has an excellent grasp of the principles which underlie orientating new students |
5. Work-study | • Has excelled in the work-study programme |
6. UWC Brand Ambassador/s | • Has performed remarkably at national and international level and the achievement has placed UWC on the map. |
