UWC Ladies started the 2023 Hollywoodbets Super League season with a comprehensive 9-1 win at Coal City Wizards.
It took a short while for Thinasonke Mbuli's charges to find their rhythm at Witbank Stadium, but when they did Wizards had no answer to UDubs' onslaught.
Returnee Kholosa Biyana got the scoring underway after 26 minutes, before further goals from Zikhona Nogqala, Sibulele Holweni (two), Ntombifikile Ndlovu and Philisa Mjambane put the contest to bed by half-time - courtesy of a commanding 6-0 lead.
Barely two minutes into the second half Ndlovu added her second and substitute Khanya Xesi added an eighth on the hour mark.
Wizards captain Nelly Gamede scored a consolation for the hosts with 25 minutes left before Ndlovu completed her hat-trick and rounded off the scoring in the 80th minute.
