The University of the Western Cape (UWC) acknowledges the President’s announcement and abides by the regulations in the Government Gazette and protocols as legislated and communicated by the National Department of Health.
The University takes guidance from the National Ministers of Health and Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and we perform our own health and safety risk assessment. We will share more information with you when we receive the guidelines from the Ministries.
Strict COVID-19 safety protocols will continue, vaccination information will continue to be disseminated and activities at our Vaccination Centre in the Main Hall at the Bellville campus will continue.
