1.  Covering letter, motivating your interest in applying for the Ivan Rugema Scholarship
2. Curriculum vitae, including your updated contact particulars;
3. Study record; and
4. Reference letter.

The electronic document must be saved as a one single document with your surname as the file name. The e-mail subject line must read: "IVAN RUGEMA SCHOLARSHIP 2023 and your surname”
 

• Closing date for applications: Monday 14 November 2022.
• Candidates who have been shortlisted for an interview will be notified by email on Tuesday 15 November 2022.
• The interview will be in the format of a presentation, the design of your choice. The presentation must not exceed five minutes. In this presentation you must show why this scholarship is best suited to you / why you are the best candidate.
• These presentations will take place on Thursday 17 November 2022 on campus. Only candidates that can show extenuation circumstances will be allowed to attend an interview online.

The Scholarship will be effective from 1 August 2023.
The successful candidate will be required to travel to the United States of America.
