The DVC: Research and Innovation calls for applications to the Developing Early-Career Researchers Programme (DECRP).
This project focuses on early-career researchers and seeks to provide them with the kind of support that will result in them being productive researchers who are able to contribute to UWC’s Research and Innovation endeavours. This involves contributions in terms of the national knowledge and skills requirements, as well as supporting the strategic positioning of UWC within the national and international higher education context.

Eligibility
- UWC Academic/Professional Support Staff/Clinical and Technical Staff who are busy with their PhDs or who have completed their PhDs in the last 5 years.
- Applicants must be Permanent Staff or full-time fixed term staff, on contract for two years or longer.
- Applicants' research must be aligned to one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Applicants must commit to spending all funds in 2022.
