Compete in our Global Essay Competition and qualify for participation as a Leader of Tomorrow in the world’s premier opportunity for cross-generational debates: The St. Gallen Symposium.

The St. Gallen Symposium is the world’s leading initiative for cross generational debates on economic, political, and social developments – completely organised by students. They bring together the key decision-makers, thought leaders and brilliant young minds to discuss current issues and chances on transforming ideas into action.

As a graduate or postgraduate student, you have the opportunity to qualify as one of the 100 Leaders of Tomorrow 2022 through participating in the Global Essay Competition. As a Leader of Tomorrow, you will enjoy an all-expenses-covered trip to Switzerland and get the chance to meet over 600 world leaders from different fields. We are proud to have welcomed distinguished participants over the years including Christine Lagarde, president of the European Central Bank, Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba Group and, most recently, Satya Nadella, Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft. On top of this, the top three entrants from the essay competition have the unique opportunity of presenting their ideas in front of a world-renowned audience and to share the grand prize of CHF 20,000.

The 51st St. Gallen Symposium will be held under the topic “Collaborative Advantage” from 5 to 6 May 2022 at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
