Dear Campus Community

President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to address the nation about the COVID-19 pandemic later today.

Yesterday he met with various stakeholders, including business leaders and other political parties to discuss the outbreak.

We await direction from the President and will communicate with you shortly. An online teaching plan is being devised, which we will communicate at the end of the week.

We call on the UWC community to remain calm, stay safe and heed advice from health officials. Please use credible sources such as the Department of Health’s website detailing all COVID-19-related resources.
