Dear campus community

Attached is an important statement from the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation on the implementation of measures that will be taken by the post school education sector in response to the COVID-19 epidemic.

It addresses, among other things:
1. NFSAS allowances;
2. The return to campuses and
3. Remote multi-modal teaching and learning.

The Minister’s statement is aligned to our academic phased-in return plans, which will serve at Senate on Tuesday, 25th of May 2020. We will communicate after Senate has made its decisions on exactly how the return to campus will be phased-in at UWC.
