Dear Campus Community

Today’s update is very brief. I wish to inform you that, since Sunday evening, the University leadership, the SRC and delegates of the UWC #feesmustfall, have been in a dialogue facilitated by the Chancellor, Archbishop Makgoba.

On Sunday evening we met from 19:00 until 04:00 this morning and we resumed again this afternoon at 14:00 and adjourned at 18:00.

We remain optimistic about finding a way forward with long-lasting solutions and we have agreed to release a joint communique as soon as we have made further progress.
