Opportunity: Africa Wetu Foundation Bursary
The Africa Wetu Foundation (AWF) has established its first ever bursary scheme to offer financial assistance for qualifying applicants to pursue a master’s degree - full time - at the Faculty of Natural Sciences for the 2022 academic year.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE AN AWF BURSARY?
Applicants must:
• be a South African citizen
• be a registered full-time graduate student
• provide an acceptance letter to their master’s Programme.
• currently completing their Honours Degree / BTech level courses; planning to pursue a master’s degree.

BURSARY VALUE
Tuition only, according to the fees set out by the respective institutions.

WHEN WILL SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS BE NOTIFIED OF THEIR AWARD STATUS?
Application for bursaries is done online at www.africawetufoundation.org and the deadline is 31 October 2021. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline. Where the advertised deadline falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the deadline date will be the following Monday. Students may not submit an application until the start of the term in which they want to be considered.

Notification: Successful applicants will be notified about their award status by end of November 2021.
