Please note it is important that students and staff who have returned to campus provide truthful and accurate information on the WizzPass pre-screening app.
Students or staff members may be subjected to the University’s disciplinary processes if false or inaccurate information is provided on WizzPass or at a screening point.
Wearing a mask helps to reduce the spread of the virus. It is, therefore, mandatory for all staff and students to wear a mask on campus.
The main benefit of wearing a face-mask is to reduce the spread of the virus through droplets. However, wearing a mask does not reduce the need for other prevention strategies such as regular handwashing with soap and water, or sanitiser, as well as physical distancing.
Students and staff, with the necessary permits as identified by the University, who are sick are requested to stay away from campus. A reminder that all students and staff on campus have to perform compulsory pre-screening and present the results at the access points.
Staff should keep their line supervisors or managers informed of illness related to flu-like symptoms. Students on Residence should advise CPS on 021 959 2100.
Queries related to COVID-19 can be directed to the Contact Centre on 021 959 3900 or 021 959 2911 (switchboard).
