Following the communication from the Acting Rector and Vice Chancellor, there will be a need for quite a few changes and cancellations to travel orders. Please be mindful when requesting cancellation as opposed to postponement, as cancellations are generally more costly to the university, especially if your trip is flexible by nature and can be postponed to a later date.
Airlines have communicated with the Travel Agent regarding terms and conditions with curtailment and cancellations. Please engage with your travel agent for advice on whether to hold on to your booking until you have clarity in terms of your anticipated trip, and how long you can wait to make a decision. There may be deadlines as to any concession when changes can be made with the airline which you need to consult with the travel agent.
