The Startup Festival, brought to you by The Office of the DVC: Academic at The University of the Western Cape (UWC), in partnership with The Startup Hatchery, will be hosted at UWC to support the next generation of entrepreneurs. The aim of the event is to grow an inclusive entrepreneurship ecosystem at the university through collaborative partnerships and initiatives.

With top speakers and trending topics it will bring together students, faculty, change-makers, inventors, thought-leaders, communities, small businesses and government. Through panel discussions, presentations and a pitching competition, the event will showcase entrepreneurial DNA across all walks of life.

The Startup Festival takes place on 24 October 2019 in the Zone in the student centre of the University of Western Cape and is open to all UWC students, faculty, entrepreneurs and the community. Book a ticket for the event at https://qkt.io/startupfestival
