World Humanitarian Day is a global celebration of people helping people. It is intended to raise public awareness of humanitarian assistance worldwide.

We know of many organisations that render humanitarian aid but each one of us has the capacity to respond to human needs in the course of our personal and professional lives.

UWC Library Celebrates World Humanitarian Day by saluting some UWC humanitarians for their actions to provide relief and support to make a difference in others' lives. These individuals were nominated by their Deans.
