It gives me great pleasure to share with you the UWC Scholarship of Engagement for Societal Impact (SoE-SI) Colloquium 2023 Report. The aim was to have the report with you by the end of June, but due to the new format of the report it was not possible.
However, I am sure you will find the new format most useful due to the YouTube links in the relevant sections of the report to respective short recordings.
I trust that these YouTube recordings will not only add to the repository of UWC SoE-SI, but that they will also provide an ‘in-person feel’ of the 2023 Colloquium for those of you who could not attend the event.

I want to express my sincere appreciation again to our UWC Chair of Council, Honourable Judge Nathan Erasmus, for his keynote address, to the breakout room sessions chairs, the two panel chairs, the presenters of the 21 abstracts which showcased UWC’s SoE-SI footprint, and to each and every one who attended. Your time, expertise, participation, knowledge contributions and dialogue at the event on 18 and 19 May 2023 contributed to our UWC SoE-SI journey.
