Why an UnConference?
Our vision of an UnConference is for everyone to participate in the sharing of information with all participants equally valued, hence the emphasis is on inclusivity and prioritising the voices of participants. We move away from traditional presentations and involve the audience as much as possible. The whole point of the UnConference is that you interact with topics to which you can add value. While there will be a structured programme with pre-identified themes as well as session facilitators, the emphasis is on a less rigid, informal exchange of information and ideas between participants, creating a flexible, creative, and conducive environment for exchanges.
You can participate in our 40th celebration as follows:
- Join us in person at the UnConference by completing the registration form (compulsory).
- Submit a proposal of how you would like to actively participate by completing the presentation application form (optional).
- Submit a proposal for a short videoclip (three minutes or less) which we will show at the event (optional). Please also complete the presentation application form.
