The Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation in partnership with The Desmond Tutu Centre for Religion and Social Justice, and African Sun Media, is happy to announce the launch of an exciting new title, "This One Thing: Journeying with Tutu" by author and long-time associate of the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Dan Vaughan.
The book celebrates the life and work of Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Rev. Nontombi Tutu, daughter of the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu will be delivering the keynote address at the launch.
Acknowledged by Archbishop Tutu himself as “riveting”, This One Thing plunges the reader into the heroic role of late Archbishop Desmond Tutu as head of the South African Council of Churches in the overthrow of apartheid. Essentially this is Tutu’s story, narrated by his right-hand man, who tells a gripping, easy-to-read insider’s perspective into the significant role that South African churches played under Tutu in bringing democracy to South Africa.
