On 13-14 October 2022, the Faculty of Community and Health Sciences (CHS) students in collaboration with students from Faculty of Natural Science and Faculty of Law will once again venture into Genadendal community delivering “health and wellness promotion” as well as much needed service to the community after a 3 year long hiatus due to Covid-19 outbreak and restrictions that followed. This forms part of the faculty’s community development and engagement initiatives which involves engaging communities, building trust, do a needs analysis and deliver health, wellness and wellbeing promotion plus any other additional services.
