The University of the Western Cape (UWC) is excited to announce the inaugural session of the Human Resources Leadership Series for 2024, hosted by UWC's Human Resources Department.
 

Our first keynote speaker is none other than Ms. Tsakani Maluleke CA(SA), the Auditor-General of South Africa. With an extensive background in governance and accountability, Ms. Maluleke will be presenting on the topic, "Bridging the Gap: Building Ethical and Effective Leadership."

This lecture promises to be an enlightening experience, offering insights into:
 

• Cultivation of Ethical Leadership: Learn best practices for promoting ethical conduct within leadership roles;
• Promotion of Self-Assessment and Transparency: Discover methods for leaders to engage in self-reflection and constructive feedback; and,
• Strengthening Governance Systems: Explore strategies for building robust governance frameworks that promote accountability and transparency.

UWC is dedicated to fostering a culture of ethical and effective leadership among our staff and students. This event is a unique opportunity to engage with a leading figure in the field and to discuss the vital issues of governance and ethical leadership in an academic environment.
