Please join us and engage on the challenges / opportunities for International full degree students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The intention of this webinar, coordinated by the Western Cape IEASA Community of Practice (CoP), is to be informed and have our practices / processes invigorated by the perspective of students.
Attached is the recent IEASA Position Paper to create context for this and ongoing cooperation within the WC CoP.
Postgraduate students & support staff are encouraged to join in shaping the services and role we contribute within higher education.

Presentations:
UWC doctoral student Evans Sakyi Boadu will present a perspective as an international full degree student: " Everybody is going through something right now: Covid-19 and international students." Evans proposes to speak to the challenges, responses and the way forward.
SU: SU colleagues and their SRC International Student representative will share some of their experiences and ways in which SU has responded to the concerns and issues faced by International full-degree students during the COVID crisis . The SU team will also discuss challenges in providing support and advice to students in making critical decisions regarding their academic programmes and return to campus”.
UCT: A brief overview of UCT's targeted support for international students during COVID-19: Lessons, challenges and the way forward.
