The University of the Western Cape is honoured to host the first Leisure and Tourism Conference (LTC2024).

The Leisure and Tourism Conference 2024 on Changing Dimensions of Contemporary Leisure and Tourism is set to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, scholars and practitioners to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Leisure and Tourism. In its broadest sense, leisure includes, play, recreation, arts and culture, sport, festivals and celebrations, health and fitness, travel and tourism, and education. The conference aim to provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Leisure and Tourism.
