You are invited you to a seminar to be presented by the renowned Canadian political scientist John Saul who will reflect on some of the themes addressed in his latest book, South Africa - The Present as History: From Mrs Ples to Mandela and Marikana (co-authored with Patrick Bond) which reflects on the current situation in the country with reference to the historical patterns that have shaped contemporary realities and the possibility of a 'next liberation struggle'.
