Dr Jenny Rose is a clinical psychologist and a lecturer in UWC's Department of Psychology. She has completed her PhD in attachment-based parenting. Jenny is involved in the clinical psychology masters training programme, where she lectures child psychology and psychopathology.
 
This webinar will address implications for practice following the implementation of a parent-based attachment intervention. In particular, various components within the child's context will be considered and how this contributes to adversity experienced by the child. These areas include high rates of pathology, reflections on prevention versus treatment, access to resources, parents as agents of change, the education system and the role of the teacher.
