The Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies of Children, Family and Society are hosting webinar on 5 October 2021 entitled: Work-family Balance: Lessons from COVID-19.
This forms part of a series of webinars under the umbrella of Strengthening the Family. The webinar will be presented by Prof. Zitha Mokomane.
Professor Zitha Mokomane is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Pretoria. She holds a MA and a PhD in Demography, both from the Australian National University. She has extensive research, policy and programmatic expertise in the fields of family studies, with specific interest in work-family interface; social policy analysis; as well as poverty reduction and social protection.
She is the editor of a book entitled 'Work-Family Interface in sub-Saharan Africa: Challenges and Responses' (Springer publishing, 2014) and the Chair of the African Work and Family Research Network.
