We are inviting you to join us for a webinar on 22 June 2021 entitled: Supporting Families in South Africa: Estrangement, Separation and Divorce.

This is a webinar in a series of webinars under the umbrella of Strengthening the Family. The webinar will be presented by Ms Imelda Diouf & Adv. Molly Malete.

About the presenter: Ms Diouf is a founding member of the Centre for Family Studies. She is a strategic manager and trainer in the areas of human rights and sustainable development; with a particular focus on vulnerable groups within the context of family. She advocates for family strengthening, cohesion and resilience as a key socio-economic stability factor within households and communities. Through the might of the pen she believes that the sector needs a critical mass of people who will plan, budget and implement through the lens of a family.

About the presenter: Adv. Malete is a founding member of the Centre for Family Studies. She is a family advocate and a family practitioner. Through radio, television, community workshops and social media platforms, she is a recognised personality who believes that the capable state starts with individuals and communities who are proactive and agents of change. With a firm belief that theory needs practice, she is committed to education, training and skills development as a means of empowering individuals and communities.
