On 12 October 2022, the University of the Western Cape hosted a workshop on Multilingual Pedagogies as part of the BAQONDE mandate.
Delegates from Netherlands, Ireland and Spain and South Africa visited the Centre for Advanced Studies of African Society (CASAS) in Rondebosch, Cape Town to attend the workshop.
BAQONDE is collaborative project between European and South African Higher Education institutions. Its primary aim is to facilitate and promote the use of indigenous African languages as a medium of instruction in tertiary education.
