We have updated our system to include all newly registered first-year and postgraduate students for 2023, granting every student access to an online Career Service portal 24/7/365 via the UWC VPN!
As a UWC student and graduate, you have access to an array of job search tools and we do not wish for you to miss out. Limit your job search anxieties and stress by being CONNECTED & PREPARED.
We encourage you whether you are a first year student or final year student to complete your academic profile as it is very important to set your majors (for Law - select at least three modules) to make the system work for you! By completing your academic information on the Career Xplora portal, you inform us (your campus career services) which information we should communicate to you. We encourage you to keep your finger on the pulse!
The system is designed to help us send students and graduates relevant and targeted notices regarding invitations to career fairs, seminars and on-campus and virtual graduate recruitment events, job opportunities, bursary and part-time work opportunities among others.
We ask you to spend a few minutes to complete your account (not profile) by visiting https://uwc-csm.symplicity.com/students select the 'student' option and sign in with your Ikamva Log In details.
Answer the questions for the system to identify your needs and then click on the icon with your initials on the top right corner of your homepage and access the MY CAREER XPLORA ACCOUNT section to get started.
It is vital to complete your Personal Information, Academic Information, and Privacy Settings. Select your level of study, indicate your majors, and degree, and also that you are a 'current' student and 'currently seeking' (even if you will be graduating this semester - so that you receive notifications).
Do not be concerned about completing/filling in the details for your 'PROFILE' or uploading a CV as yet... focus on your ACCOUNT SETTINGS.

Career Xplora is accessible to graduates for three years post completing studies.
