UWC Prof Nominated For Western Cape’s Cultural Awards
Acclaimed University of the Western Cape linguist, Professor Quentin Williams, has been nominated for his work in promoting diversity, spearheading the campaign for the recognition of the Kaaps language. Prof Williams was nominated for the Language Development Award by the Western Cape’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport for his work in promoting Kaaps in literature and education. |
