3D modalities are of high advantage now a day. Bearing this in mind, these type of radiographs may assist in detecting any areas of interest, any abnormalities or even pathologies while estimating the severity of certain dental conditions. Therefore, it aids in assessing different treatment options by providing guidance intra-operatively and monitor the success of previous treatments.

Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology is considered as the core diagnostic modality in dentistry as we serve the entire faculty, but work together as a multidisciplinary team.
