Department of Information Systems Undergraduate Programmes
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Students may major in Information Systems under the following degree:
BCom in Information Systems (1033)|

Applicants must hold a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a Bachelor's endorsement. Admission is subject to meeting the minimum subject-specific requirements and achieving the required points on the University of the Western Cape’s approved points system.
Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) is a compulsory subject for admission. Applicants who have taken Mathematical Literacy will not be considered.
Preference will be given to applicants who are first-time entrants to higher education.
