Staff and students are encouraged to participate in these events by showcasing their completed and ongoing research.
From time to time we will invite speakers from other departments within UWC, local and international higher education institutions and public sector institutions, to share their finance research finding with lecturers and students.
The 2025 Job Shadowing Program once again demonstrated the significant value of providing students with meaningful, hands-on exposure to the finance industry. Student reflections highlighted that the programme not only strengthened their understanding of technical finance concepts but also fostered the development of essential professional and interpersonal skills.
The Department is encouraged by the enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by our partner firms, whose willingness to invest in the development of future finance professionals contributed greatly to the programme's success.
