Department of Finance Partnerships
UWC’s Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Finance students participated in job shadowing at Oasis Group Holdings Ltd, Khumo Capital (Pty) Ltd and Prowess Investment Managers (Pty) Ltd
In 2025, the Department of Finance proudly marked the third consecutive year of its Job Shadowing Programme, an initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice in the financial services industry. Building on the strong foundations established through partnerships with Sanlam Investments in 2023 and Oasis Crescent, the programme continued to grow with the addition of two new investment firms: Khumo Capital and Prowess Investment Managers. This expansion reflects the Department's ongoing commitment to providing students with diverse, high-quality experiential learning opportunities while strengthening collaboration with industry partners.
